The Pike County (Ohio) Humane Society is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to the elimination of cruelty and neglect of animals. We are run entirely by volunteers and receive no government funding.
It is the mission of the Pike County Humane Society to enforce the laws set in place to ensure the humane treatment of residential animals with Pike County and the state of Ohio. The Humane Society promotes spaying and neutering, provides animal welfare education; provides temporary food and doghouses to animals in need, and acts as a positive support system for the residents of Pike County. In short, the Pike County Humane Society helps to Prevent Pain, Promote Education, and Provide Assistance to the residents and animals of Pike County.
